CO-OP POSITION
In my senior year at Essex North Shore, I had the opportunity to work as a Communications Intern in the Workforce Development Office. My role included designing and producing marketing materials for the NightHawks Adult Education program, photographing events, creating content for the school's social media channels, and helping out with various office tasks.
This experience gave me a real sense of what it's like to work in a professional environment. I had the chance to connect with faculty, staff, and administrators, and I gained a better understanding of day-to-day office life. I also learned a lot about managing a fast-paced work environment, responding to client requests, and collaborating with a team.
Additionally, the internship provided a comprehensive learning experience, allowing me to refine essential career skills such as interviewing, training, and creating professional documents. Overall, this role has significantly prepared me for post-graduation career opportunities.
